Which Greek island is the most beautiful and worth visiting?

I saw Cyprus is the answer of many people. I've got to repeat that it isn't exactly in Greece. You go there only if you like historical places very much. It's just about what it can offer.
I suggest Crete because you can find anything you want. From beautiful beaches, to historical sights, you can have some fun also at night... You can find ANYTHING!

I am a fan of Naxos. A big island, roughly four hour and a half hours from aither Rafina or Piraeus, or 50 minutes by plane. The island is big enough to have stunning mountains, as well as many isolated beaches. Draws large numbers of European tourists. The main town is typical island town with a lot of hotels or inns. There are also plenty of camp sites too.
If you like wind surfing it has a good beac for that too right near the main town.

Went for a week and loved it, so much to see and do.

Cyprus - even though it's technically not part of Greece, it is a Greek island and very beautiful! Once you go there you will love it!

Now here's the problem. Greece has over 3000 islands and each one of them has its own character and traditions architecture etc. A lot depends on your idea of beauty. They are all worth going to for lots of different reasons. Some of the answers you have so far are indicative. To mention a few more Santorini and its caldera is awesome. Crete is very large and you would need at least a couple of months to see it. The home of the Minoans. Tinos, Ydra, Spetses, Poros, Syros. Ithaca Cefalonia. They are all breathtaking.

Santorini. All the islands are beautiful, but only Santorini has the caldera. Nothing can match it. Imagine the Grand Canyon wrapped around the blue sea with Greek houses hanging on the cliffs like Adobe dwellings. You can't even imagine it.

Only went to Rhodes myself. I'd say, stay away from the tourist traps and you can't go wrong.
