First it's Serbia (same religion, similar customs and food, music etc), then it's Armenia (good feelings and sympathy for each other during the 2 genocides), then Italy (similar history, cultural respect, admiration of each others achievements etc), then Romania (same religion, many romanians studying and working in Greece) then Russia (military stuff and religion) and then UK (tourists tourists tourists)

u should also add France

I dont find any relations (good or bad) with romania and uk exept students in their universities...

we're two hot blooded people who shared similar things for centuries even if we have so much conflict and mistrust in both sides the truth is hidden beyond them in the little details you can see it very clearly when the most serious earthquake hit the greece or in the forest fires do you know who helped greece during the WWII with ships which were loaded with food and medicine many things dont recall now btw i agree that greece has very good relations with serbia and russia (same faith) serbs and greeks were also influenced each other since byzantine times so serbs are my first choice

Well I don't know much about Greece's foreign relations, but I know that Armenia and Greece have good relations.

Besides politics, history binds two nations to each other and it makes a common feeling between them.
There is a Greek community in Armenia and Armenian community in Greece, both settled from long time ago.
I think Greek users can answer it better!

The civil war was during 46-49 and there was nothing racist about a Greek killing another Greek. It was a madness and a tragedy.

UK has betrayed us during '22. It was the only country that it was suppose to help us but in the last years of the war the British believed that we will loose the war and they didn't even give us a LOAN.

hmmm...WELL.. if your can understand (politics and how they work ) PRINCE phillip has been comming to AGIO OROS..for the last 50 years for 2 weeks every year... after that i would say RUSSIA is the second closet relation ship we have becuase of the relegious amicablitys.then .ARMENIA because of what we shared in the turkish genocide..then ITALY for the cultural similaritys..then ROMANIA for the large greek enthinc minority there..and last SERBIA for having the same TSAROXIA.....

Serbs were organized under the same, Orthodox church, therefore are a better candidate for close relations.

UK was the bigger brother of Greece during its fight for freedom.

Russia shares the same religion, Italy the same region, but I don't know about Romania.

As a result, my candidate would be Turkey. :DDDDD

i think that politically Greece have the best relation with UK because support us from the start of new Greece!!! support us in 1821,1914 with Balkans wars,1917 first world war,1922 UK was the only big European country that support Greece and of course in second world war(1940-1944) and in civil war(1945-1949)!!!
culturally i think with Italy because Una faca Una raca!!!!!!!!!!:)))))))))
