Well, Serbians came in Kosovo and invaded that land so I would say Kosovo....and you people can say what you want but the truth is another and I'm so surprised that you forgot when in 1913 the powerful countries gave it to Serbia and now they corrected the mistake, Kosovo has nothing to do with California, because in Kosovo Albanians are as old as life is....

I'm for Serbia and Kosovo is part of our country. It will always be so, and the present state is not cemented - politics and world maps are ever changing and dynamic.

Serbia is Kosovo, Kosovo is Serbia.

Who ever is for independent Kosovo, should go to Albania, since he/she is probably Albanian.

Your question is very basic...
In the Balcans, the problem is very hard to understand at a first look.
You have to study the history of Europe since the ancient greeks, to see what are the confusion of nations, religions and peoples that live there.
Since the WWII ended, Jugoslavia worked well, because of a thing called cold war, and a strong leader - Tito.
Of course, when the Tito died and cold war ended, it was easy to predict all the troubles...
My opinion is: Kosovo has the right to be independent, but the moment isn't good...

Kosovo, Albanians were christians before the Ottoman conquest and then the Ottomans obligated them to turn into Muslims, so the religous point is solved, Serbians have their land but not Kosovo....

Kosovo 100% because of the suffering they have had to endure at the hands of a oppresive minority that only makes up about 10% of the population.
And angy please stop perpetrating the myth that the Ottomans forced conversions in the Balkans. If that was truly the case there wouldn't be a Christian left in the former Ottoman occupied countries. The fact is that most places in the Balkans that are Muslim today were Bogomil and persecuted by both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches and whose doctorines were compatible with Islam. These two factors made conversions in Bosnia and Albania much higher than other parts of the Balkans. In Islam there is no compulsion in religion which is more than what we can say about Christianity at many points during its history!

if you asked your questions: are you for serbia or any other state of the world , serbia would be the loser. They are the losers in this life, they prove it celebrating their defeats during centuries. In Kosova case, it's just another chance for celebration. I wish they will celebrate it until the end of the time.
