I've visited over 35 countries, and I'd have to say the friendliest was Mexico. And i don't mean Cancun. When you go to a tourist resort they talk to you just to sell you a timeshare, but Mexico City was amazingly friendly.

I'd say Canda, Holland...etc.

I actually wouldn't know because I don't know anyone from other places. Besides...every country has different cultures/customs. You may think saying hello to a stranger is friendly, but in some places, that would be rude, so you can't judge. Though, I do think that based on our culture, some country's traditions are actually quite stiff and irrelevant in today's world...

all i know is that it can't be canada because it said in the newspaper like 1 month ago that canada's the third friendliest country...

i would expect the french to be really nice

they did a test in australia
what they did was put a slouched women, who looks like she's dead on a public bench in the city and measured how long it took for someone to come and help them
they did this in each street
sydney took like 6hrs for help
melbourne took like two
etc
brisbane was the nicest because instantly there were alot of people helping her
