Netherlands or Germany, because they are among the few countries where sex is a heavily regulated industry and it's easier to find non-trafficked prostitutes. Many other countries have prostitution rings heavily tied to organized crime, trafficking/sex slavery, war and all sorts of things that really should not be supported. To be honest, so do the Netherlands and Germany, but there is also very visible legal activity under regulation, and it's better than most other places.
I have a friend from SE Europe that was sold into such a situation, and what she's been through is horrific. I have no problem with prostitution as long as it is an individual choice, but it's very wrong to support the criminal aspect of the business.

The quality of prostitutes depends on what you are willing to pay, like every other service.
Swedish prostitutes are almost certain to be trafficked (I used to live there) and if you are caught, you will be in big trouble.
However, for picking up women the normal way (getting drunk in a club), Norway does have the highest rate of casual sex in the world, and Sweden isn't far behind. Doesn't mean Scandinavians are easy, just liberal, open minded, and self-assured. But maybe you aren't looking for that. |
