Just because Turkey is secular doesn't mean Turkish people have no religion. The martyrdom of our soldiers do have a religious side, they died to protect their country and more importantly to protect innocents from being the victims of cowardly plots planned by pkk terrorists such as bombing shopping malls, buses and even schools.

Do not confuse our people with the ones around you, we have values that we respect. There can be no further honor other than dying for your country whether you are a Muslim or not. I can't help if people in your society recall the ones who died for them as "dogs"

What's your point?

Do you mean to say that, say, Christians dying for their country die like dogs? Or that it is meaningless to die for your country if you are a Buddhist or pagan, etc?

Why don't you express these precious "ideas" in your own country? I'm sure you have lots of freedom of thought there.

Also, how can you think secularism is atheism? Isn't this more than a bit stupid? I advise you to find a dictionary and read it from cover to cover.
