Of course everyone will prefer one or more countries depending on experience and culture.
But someone has said that you haven't lived unless you have lived less than one hundred miles from the Mediterranean.

That´s really a matter of opinion. Every European country has it´s own interesting culture, the people are usually nice in every country. The places to see are quite different, the food is different. So you will not be bored even if you visited all the countries in Europe.
My favourite country happens to be Spain as I have lived there in my youth for a couple of years and visit Spain about twice a year, but that does not exclude visits to other countries too.
I recommend all the countries, especially Ireland, Greece, and all the northern countries (Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland)! That´s just my opinion. Why not make an opinion of your own and visit us here in Europe, especially the northern parts of Europe.
Welcome to Europe! |

I'd say Italy. Like the other guy said I'd perfur Sicily, but that's only because I was born and raised there. I've never really been to any other European countries other that Spain, the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, and Romania, but those were only on vacation trips(except Spain where I learned to speak some Spanish to some locals on a collage trip)
Needless to say I liked all of those countries, but Sicily, Italy is my home so I'd say there. |
