Which is the best name for a modern Greek restaurant?

I'm designing a new Greek restaurant brand and have devised a list of possible names. The mood is to be traditional yet contemporary and appeal to the style-conscious generation.

From the list below which are your favourite name/s? Any other suggestions are welcome but would like to know your opinions on these too!

NAPA: literally means 'wooded valley' but also has connotations with Ayia Napa - lively trendy area of Crete
MEZEDES: tastes, meze
THEO'S or NIKO'S
KOUZINA: cuisine
YIAMAS: cheers
GALAZEOS: blue - blue and white are colours used a lot in Greece
XENIA: hospitality
ELLADA: Greek
MERAZO: to share
NOSTIMMOS: delicious
CHARA: joy
MODAS: trend
GREEKA
ILEKTRIK: electric - as in electric, lively atmosphere

one of my professions was a chef and i had 3 resturants..all succesffull... when you say style conscious!!...your really taking about a tarvena ...not a resturant.. a resturant is meant for one thing and one thing only to satisfy the appetitte of the clientel and make it a I WANT MORE OF THIS..to the clientel. presentation of food and taste must alwasy remain the same ,that is your singnature of a resturant.people rember the resurant for its food first rather than the decor or entertainment..the other thing that is more important in a resturant than food is the MATRE D. he or she..is the glue between the food and the clientel.. ..so if it is really a resturant you are opeing up..for food... the best from your selection to me is... NOSTIMMOS...... but i prefer ..AMBROSIA...= food of the gods...

i like Kouzina, and Mezedes but i have another suggestion to make...
how about "Amalthia" as your nickname. Its totally greek and refers to the famous goat who was feeding Zeus.

I like it to have a person's name!! sounds more intimate and warm!! I think as others said Amalthia is a good one and has got a story to go with it from greek mythology..Also like Theo's.

Out of yours I like best the Kouzina and Galazeos complimented with the greek colors of course.

But if it was up to me - I would look more in the rich past of Greek mythology.

Something like Manna of Olympus or Nectar of Diogenes.
Even some daring one like Pleasures of Underworld, Hades Kitchen or the Pride of Troy.

@ keep going - I can never reach your personal records of thumb down.
Isn't your average about 24 down losers?

I like Chara.

Napa reminds one of the Napa Valley in USA.

Why not Athena? Noone will mistake it for another.

Galazeos is wrong, the correct is galazios
Xenia is a known chain of hotels in Greece
trend is Moda, not Modas (=moda's), and it is an italian word anyway.
electric would be written like this, not with an i, since it is written with eta in Greek, so basically no one would see that it is meant to be greek, I mean they use the greek word anyway.
I'd go with Kouzina. There is a successful restaurant in Athens with that name. And I
've said before, Amalthia is the best!

NAPA reminds be of California Napa Valley. Don't use that.

Kouzina sounds too "laiko", as does Theo's and Niko's.

Most of the others I don't like either, but it would take to long to explain why.

Instead of GREEKA, I would prefer GREKA.

Instead of GALAZEOS, I would prefer GALAZIO.

The best name of all would be AMALTHIA. That is a cool name.

I believe it is catchy and people can say it in reference to ownership because it is already plural in English.

I worked at a fancy Greek restaurant called Theo's. The owners were rude, evil men that enjoyed making their employees cry. They fired someone every other night, but it was fancy enough that the tips would bring them grovelling back. I was a patron of the restaurant a few times before working there. Never since.

This is a purely personal opinion. Don't call it Theo's. How about Ouroboros? Only cool Greek word I can think of at the moment.
