To vacation? Maui Island, Hawaii. Most travel publications will agree with me on this. I've been to The Netherlands and Germany, my sister's been to France, my girlfriend has been to Japan. There are things you can do some places that you can't do anywhere else. Maui has more :P
To live? I'd argue Northern California, but I'm a bit biased, having lived there my whole life. |

Wow, first of all, I just want to say on behalf of the compassionate people in the world, I am so sorry for the morons that answered your question so rudely. Folks, have y'all ever thought that they aren't from the United States and are doing quite well to write (type) in English?
Now, on to answer your question...depending on opinions (which, apparently, you'll get a lot of here), The United States is quite nice. Of course, we have our share of problems and are fortunate to be able to verbalize those complaints. In other parts of the world, this would not be allowed. You'd just have to sit there at take it. I live in the southeastern part of the US and love it. I would like to visit the Pacific Northwest and of course, Maine. That's one state I've always wanted to visit. I've been to Hawai'i and just loved it. I spent three weeks there while my brother was stationed there. Other parts of the world I'd like to visit would be Austraila, Japan, Antarctica and Europe. Hope this helps.
