from what i have heard i would say Bulgaria...or Ukraine is very cheap...but neither places 100% safe.
so that leaves Czech Republic...i live here...
top brands like Marlboro,Bensons,Rothmans are 66czech crowns which is 2.36euros for 20.
you can buy other cheaper cigs-cheapest are 35czk=1.25euors for 20.
beer,food,accomodation,etc also very cheap here,so if you are thinking about a trip,write direct to me and i can help you organise it! |

I'd agree on Eastern europe. Czech republic/Estonia were cheap for fags-think Estonia the best of the 2. BA flight crew really stocked up there. Not been to Bulgaria for years, but used to be dirt cheap.
Beware, there have been restrictions on the amount of tobacco that can be brought back to the uk from these new european countries. |

It depends on where in those countries you go. But it also depends on whether you are buying with the Euro or with the Dollar because the Euro is worth more than the dollar. |

The cheapest place I went was gibraltar, when visiting Spain, just under £9 for 200 benson and hedges. And its a beautiful little island to go to for a visit, if you go to the top they have monkeys just wondering the streets and caves that you can go to. Nice little beaches as well, and you can go to the top and see Africa! |

Well technically not Europe but they have the Euro, I suppose the canaries, I once saw 200 cigs for less than €3.
I was buying 200 for around €7 which were a milder more common taste to UK brands. |

In Luxembourg I pay €3.30 (three euro's thirty) which is about £2.10 for a pack of 20 Marlboro...
I've found them more expensive in Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium...
Of course, they might be cheaper by a lot in Eastern European countries like Slovakia, Bulgaria, or Romania...
As for the Canaries, those cigarettes that are about €7 for 200 are in fact bootleg cigarettes, usually the mess from the factory floor... you can find them all over asia, africa... and they taste pretty awful sometimes, even if they are in a proper box that looks like a Marlboro box.
