Kardhamili! It's a near coast village in Peloponnese in Greece! Special charm of the stone houses, the beach and the mountains.
There you can find very clean beaches, where you can watch the bed of the sea very clearly from outside! The scenery is breath-taking! Very romantic! At night, you can see so many stars on the sky, you thing they are going to fall on your head!
Nice people, nice hotels...oh God I miss that place every time of the year! It's the perfect place to calm your soul and empty your brain!

Hi, Good Question . But I am wondering why you are asking this question on Yahoo :-)

Any way... my favourite place is Ladhak and surrounding areas on my Royal Enfield Bullet. I been to Ladhak 7 times on my bike. Did Khardung La, Chang La, Chang Thang , Pangong Tso lake. Did lot of camping in that snow desert. Its out of this world experience.

Why don't you try ??

Cheers !!!!

I'd go along with nuts. Out of all the places I've been, Antarctica wins hands down, for the same reasons as her. followed by Iceland, the Faeroes and the Scottish islands.

i'll put it this way,if u can avoid all the following destinations ,rest r favorite!!
1. Tenerife
Tenerife, Canary Islands
Full of horrible people who put towels on pool chairs at 3 a.m. The island itself is UGLY, barren , and soulless. The food everywhere was awful. A complete waste of money. No last minute package deal could ever be worth the 7 days of hell I had to spend there.

2. Lanzarote
Lanzarote, Canary Islands
Lanzagrotty. Need I say more?

3. Cancun
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula
What an awful way to spoil a beautiful coastline. I feel sorry for the locals, even the best margarita can't redeem the place.

4. Hometown Buffet, Country Buffet, locations throughout the U.S.
The world's most revolting restaurants, that epitomize all that is wrong with the U.S. Do not ruin your vacation by dining at one of these places.

5. Dahab, Egypt
Dahab, South Sinai
DIRTY, full of cockroaches, ugly, and the only time in my life when I ever found a human toenail in my food. ICKKKKYYYY!

6. Belize City
Belize City, Belize District
Depressing and dangerous. Stay away.

7. Orange County, CA (except for the beaches)
Beige County is a black-hole of nothingness, and yet sameness. It is devoid of character, and so homogenized that you will realize a good old glass of milk is in for some serious competition.

Go to croatia once. It is absolutely a lovely place and many times i had to think of the landscape seen in lord of the rings. there seem to be millions of islands, you can never see the endless see only but feel like infront of a huge lake, there is the mediterean feeling and great buildings from the roman empire (for example the palace in split) and i would say any city at the coast with its narrow little streets made from white stones is absolutely worth seeing once!!

Mine is the Effiel tower, cause you could just admire it in the cool breeze at night, for hours. It looks amazingly dazling at night with its fabulous lights. In my words it is a "Dream Tower".

A bit of history....
The Eiffel Tower was built for the International Exhibition of Paris of 1889 commemorating the centenary of the French Revolution. The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII of England, opened the tower. Of the 700 proposals submitted in a design competition, Gustave Eiffel's was unanimously chosen.

However it was not accepted by all at first, and a petition of 300 names - including those of Maupassant, Emile Zola, Charles Garnier (architect of the Opéra Garnier), and Dumas the Younger - protested its construction.

At 300 metres (320.75m including antenna), and 7000 tons, it was the world's tallest building until 1930.

Well, What's urs da???

Sakura.
