Of the ones you've listed basketball is played and popular throughout Europe and then hockey. Look at the success of European players in the US in those two sports. Hockey is less popular only because the southern countries don't have much hockey. I was surprised that baseball is as popular as it is here - there's a league here in Italy, for example. I've seen a few games. The Netherlands may be the place where it's most popular, but it's not particularly big either. |

Football and basketball are the most popular. So, out of these three, the answer is basketball |

Football. as in Soccer. Most popular sport anywhere in the world.
and I think hockey tops basketball. Baseball isn't even played in most of Europe. I doubt many of the youngsters even know what it is. |

Of the three sports you list, Basketball is by far the most popular sport in Europe. Baseball doesn't really exist. ICE hockey is pretty popular in some of the colder or northern countries like Finland, Sweden, and Russia to name a few.
Not considering your three listed sports, Football/Soccer/FĂștbol is by far the most popular sport throughout Europe.

Depends on where in Europe you are. Eastern Europe and Scandinavia (especially the czech rep. and russia) are big on hockey. |
