Is it good? Which is better for beaches, decent restaurants and a variety of bars. I don't like the "Benidorm Effect" of Marmaris. |

kusadasi is lovely. its almost in 2 parts, the old and the new. its nice to wander through the old part, its really pretty. there will be a lots of tourists as the cruise ships dock there, but it is not as bad as marmaris for the benidorm effect lol. |

Altinkum is great,it has a quiet part and a very lively part especially along bar street.nightlife is excellent and plenty of restaurants.Beaches are very good and plenty of watersports available.

I went to Kusadasi about 5 years ago - first time in Turkey and absolutely loved it. Great night life and beach is great as long as you don't mind a 10 minute bus journey in a sardine can. All part of the holiday experience I reckon ! The people are fantastic and really friendly - go for it you will love it. Is there room in your suitcase for me?!!!! |

went to Altinkum on honeymoon a few
years ago, found it a bit grubby, great market at Kusadasi though. If you go make sure you visit Ephasus truly awe inspiring. |

been to kusadasi 3 years ago. i did not like the beach or sea. but i can tell you restaurants and bars are good |

Came back from Altinkum 3 weeks ago, it's much quieter than Marmaris, (less hassle) 3 sandy beaches to pick from. loads of bars, Catch the bus to The Temple of Apollo (It cost 1 1/4 NTL the bus drops you right outside) There is also a large outdoor market.
Have a good time. |

If so, then choose Kuşadası.
If not, then Bodrum, Antalya, Alanya, Fethiye (Ölü Deniz), Kemer, Kaş, Çeşme are better. |
