It is NOT a matter of nationality.

The best tourists are the ones who love, respect and advertise the beauties of my country.

The worst are the ones who visit the country just to do all extremities and behave here the way they cannot in their own countries.

No intention to generalize, but due to my experience I believe the best are the Italians, the Germans and the Japanese. The worst are the British. Especially the young ones...they act as if they are locked up in a cage all year long.

I managed a bar in greece (KOS) for 9 years and the WORST! by a long chalk were the English(90% of them) the Germans were a pain as they always complained and paid individually! the best were The IRISH and followed by the Scottish and then the Welsh this feeling was also shared by the many Greek people that I new, the English football fans on holiday are a disgrace to the nation, i'm sorry if I offend but thats the facts!

Well, I am a travel agent so I guess I can express my opinion on that....

Worst: Brits & latinoamericans (the rich ones)

Best:Italians, americans & japs

I have seen a poll about that a few weeks ago. And it says that the French are the worst (too tightwad, impolite and arrogants) and Americans the best.

The best- behaved are the Japanese (discreet, polite and erudite) and the worst must be Americans and British (arogant, rude and sometimes philistine)

the best with out doubt are the English, unless of course it has anything to do with football!!!The worst are the Russians miserable and very rude.

It depends on the education and the background of the tourists.We say British, but i have seen very respectful persons,the best for me are the italians because they can appreciate the art, concerning the money who leaves more, certainly the greeks...

the best tourists are the ones that leave tips(extra money) to places they go!! hehe, that is how greeks see it! oh, and those who don't destroy monuments.. the worse are the reverse of the above!! enjoy greece...... responsively!!
