Yes I must agree that the Irish in general are a very friendly race of people. I think Kenyans are lovely too - the ones that I've met anyway.

I can't give a definitive answer (obviously), but I have to mention the Japanese: always polite, great sense of humor , rarely arrogant.

Totally agree....here in the North of Ireland we will treat you like we have known you for years.....and we have the best sense of humour in that we can laugh at ourselves unlike others. It's a beautiful country with a lot of lovely people in it so come on over and enjoy the craic. :)

Yes Southern Ireland, the North may as well be English, and England and the English are not favorites of mine!!!
Ireland will become 'Ireland' when the troops get out, and its unified again!

the irish have the craic but i would say Thailand has the nicest people the land of smiles, after the tsunami everyone came to help

When I went to Malta I met some lovely Irish people and some even nicer Northern Irish people - so it's a top place

I agree entirely. The Irish are a very hospitable race indeed. I have visited 35 countries and have come across some very kind and generous people. The Irish are the nicest Ã²f the EuropÃ©ans but South-East Asians run them a very close second for friendliness.

In my own experience ive found it to be the turks, which surprised me. In the interest of fairness i cant say the irish because i am irish.
