Well I can't think of anyone really appreciated here in Greece for more than a semester..but especially these days and generally the passed few years u can say that Eleni Menegaki is loved by the public. She's not a "high" personality but she can certainly make your day during her morning tv show..you'll certainly laugh if you watch it..people here love to watch her especially when she's pregnant!! :)

Wow - I've sat here trying to think of one (in recent years) and can't ..... must be one! I can think of loads of old film stars and singers (most dead). Definitely NOT Aftia - makes me think of a ferret everytime I see him! YUK awful man!
G Papadakis seems to be 'loved' by the public. Nope can't think of one!
Angel - I agree Pyrros Dimas is a wonderful athelete as well as a wonderful person - my friend knows him personally - but he's not Greek.
