Not me,I will never set foot foot in the place.
The PJ are now trying to blame the dead parents who drowned trying to save their children, despite a british bloke who lives there saying there are no signs on the beach except a tiny one in Portugese warning of the dangers and that there wasn't a lifeguard on that beach.
They are really panicking now about tourism because of their botched up search for Madeline, they are amateurs and liars. |

So, you think Portugal is the only place in the world where a 3 year old kid gets stolen or worse? |

I have no problem with going to Portugal for a holiday. It's still a relatively safe country, when you compare it to Britain. I refuse to let media hysteria, and what appears to be a subtle campaign to undermine an entire country's reputation put me off. And it is my understanding that the PJ WILL NOT be prosecuting ANY survivors of the terrible beach incident. |

We have just returned from a fab holiday in Portugal, dont let recent sad news in newspapers put you off. It is a beautiful country with gorgeous clean beaches. At the end of the day we all have to take measures to be very protective and responsible for our children. Comon sense rules.! |

I love going to Portugal, I love the language, the food, the people and the climate..People drown in this country all the time and children go missing, it's just that they are not as well covered by the news.I won't stop going there.
That would by like boycotting London because of the bombings, New York because of 9-11 or Germany because of Hitler. |

Portugal was always a good place to go on vacation. The irresponsible parenting that led to a toddler being left alone in a hotel room and subsequently vanish is not related to Portugal as a tourist destination. Bad parenting happens everywhere. |

Portugalis a wonderful place, but lets face it, with all the bad press, it is leaving itself wide open to criticism.....and its not doing itself any favours! It makes it sound like the police force are like the Keystone Cops!!! ON Vacation! |
