I really have noo idea why someone would be so obsessed about points.. )Nobody is going to get the trademark of Yahoo anyhow and definitely no Mercedes Benz for the top contributors :D.

It happened to me recently.. I aswered a question in the Italian section about the archive of Colona family, and the troops which partecipated in the naval battle of Lepanto, and somebody who considers himself as the leader in the History section was fighting me till the last moment because I dared to get some points more than him.
I finally got the "best answer" with the help of my friends (it was a matter of honour as my answer had to do with my family too, but also with his persistance), and then I found out that he has 13 accounts to vote himself....Really pathetic..

Edit: Enver, indeed I know the three Pashas and they are honest and friendly persons...

What I don't like is when an answer is chosen by "voters" which is clearly wrong. I answered a question about sumo wrestlers and the other answerer was chosen over me by the voters. They only answered - "I don't watch sumo."!!!

I complained to Yahoo answers and the whoe question seems to have disappeared but I doubt they took away their 10 points.

Some people just like to feel important. On Youtube you've got people using programs to up their hit counts and subscribers - all for attention and nothing else.

Don't worry, I only have one account and that's fine with me. I don't care that much about best answer, because they are just points that I will never use. :-)

I know!! It amazes me that so many people have so much time on their hands and so little real life.

It is also irritating when they gang up and thumbs down you so many times for a great answer.

I found someone the other day that kept posting the same question over and over. I did not realize this at first and gave a good detailed informative answer. When she voted for best answer she gave it to the same stupid answer that was given on every question she ask. She MUST have been racking up points for another acct.

It is not fair and it is so dumb.

Please will someone explain me what happened here in last week. I was away, came back and really confused. I know the 7 account one which is an old case and seems live back again. Second person no idea.
The only thing I realize is there are being so many thumb ups or downs (something like 20).

Getting points is absolutely useless, I don't care for points.

When the racist Jeancharles and his friends attack us, sometimes the last solution is to use similar weapons.

As I already told you, and as everybody knows, Peter Parker and Captain Turkey are my partners in crime, only for the Defense of Turkish Honour.
And unfortunately the armenian trolls and the racist losers are one hundred times more unfair, using several accounts.

For instance, on every "genocide" question, I know that some armenians answer several times with various accounts and they vote several times.

And I also know that some Armenians are present among us, and they are doing their dirty spy job.

Arkadaslar, be very carefull when somebody adds you on his contact list, it may be a strategy to abuse you and spy you.

And also an advice for the turkish men here : Be carefull when a new user,especially girls, try to "seduce" you... We all know that is a famous and very old technic used even by CIA , KGB, M6, MIT, MOSSAD,etc... ( 2 new users, probalbly armenians, tried to say me kind words ,and they wanted to know my real email adress, and I suppose they meant to abuse me with a false relationship, in order to get some strategical informations )

About this accounts problem, I think Yahoo should definately block the identified IP number, and then the guilty user can't open a new account anymore on the same computer.
