Dude no,you have been dooped by a troll.

Trust me,iv been here a while now and the decent users here dont partake in trolling nonsense,we actually keep in touch and discuss things in an adult manner,its only a few trolls who cant stand this and would prefer we fight.

You will soon identify the civilised users like Totally Blunt,Vasaliki,Zoi,Min Tous, Danny,Regim,Christophorus,Irmak ect and quickly see who the idiots are....Byzantine,ABC,Allan D ect and you will learn to just ignore the trolls.

No one says everything has to be roses all the time ,but the difference is the good users can discuss anything in an adult matter,but the trolls cant,they prefer an abusive anti-social rant to whoever will listen.

Koray the trolls in this section aren't necessary Greeks. The user with the "gay" pic of a guy uses a pic of a frequent user of Yahoo greek travel section editted with photoshop. So he makes fun of both Greeks and Turks at the same time by calling him Ataturk.

You are thinking like you are in kindergarden.Judging people over internet, especially when they hide behind their anonimity is immature.
If I was to judge Turkish or all the people by internet, then believe me , i would have to hate Turks (based of their attitude on internet) but its not true.
If you still believe that way, good for you, but you should learn to judge people when you meet them face to face.
You should ask some Turkish users here who have already visit Greece.

The guy calling himself Neo-Bizan Empire is not able to make any distinctions. He is attacking with his post Turkish people as a whole.

Just an example. I don't want a Turkish presence on Cyprus. Cyprus belongs to the Cypriots (both with Greek and Turkish ethnicity) and I would like to see Cyprus reunified.

Obviously, you are able to make such a distinction. And you say it right in the beginning of your post. You don't want to hurt deliberately people and you even say that you like Greek people. And now look what "Neo-Bizan Empire" says...

Its only some Greeks that think that. I am Greek and I certainly do not hate Turks, just like me they are human beings (my Greek friends get SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... pissed at me when I say that). Some Greek people hate Turks and some Turks hate Greek people. Some Greek people can care less, and some Turks can care less. Its no big deal. Just be like me and lets not start fights, fighting gives you stress and it just makes you die younger.

@Koray, you need to OPEN YOUR EYES!!! NOT ALL GREEKS ARE LIKE THAT!!! hellooooo have you seen me lately? have you been to Crete? they dont fight with Turks, they have Turkish friends. I've answered the same question in Greek section, so I modify this one. I agree with the 'Neobyzantine Empire'. He doesn't say things that are irrational, at least to me, he doesn't say that Greeks should make a war or something.
You could have the same answer from many other Greeks.

About the question...I think those guys just try to make you upset, they try to have some kind of 'conflict' with you. In the end they try to remind you, as I said to my other answer, that Greeks were evicted illegally (and through painful wars of course, but the illegal thing is AFTER the wars and is more rescent) from Constantinople, where they were living...God knows, for thousand of years some of them.
Quite immature reaction, they are not right as long as the city has another name now, but it is another thing how Greeks name the city. ;-)

I agree with Neo - Byzantine Empire and I want to add if there is anyone who suffers from inferiority complex is the turks because they try to fool their selves that they are European (never you were Europeans), they are secular and not racist (after killing all the Christians), they are peaceful (threading Greece and Syria with war, illegally occupy Cyprus and always attacking the Kurds), they are western (people who fight with eachother, hiding behind their women's hijab are not western) and many more examples of what really is a turk (today and before).

Now who really has the inferiority complex? Can you give me similar examples of Greek inferiority complex?

The Greek people who don't compromise with the turkish problem are because of their patriotism not because of any kind of complex.

You want Turkey to have friends...OK this is what you have to do:
1) Like Germany and Japan did after WWII they apologized for the GENOCIDES that they committed, so now Turkey must also apologize for its GENOCIDE of 2 million Armenians, Greek, and Assyrian Christians (1915 - WWI)...stop denying history...these peoples have lived in Anatolia for 3,000 years
2) Get out of Cyprus (illegal occupation look at all th United Nations condemnations for God's sake)
3) Allow for Religious freedoms (both Muslim & Christian)
4) Respect Human Rights, if Kurds want to create an independent Kurdistan then so be it, Anatolia is large enough for the Kurds to have a small country, don't you think 20 million people deserve to govern themselves
5) Stop threatening your neighbours like Turkish jet fighters and warships venturing deep into the Aegean Sea which is scattered with Greek islands...how would you like it if Russian nuclear warships hung out off the Turkish Black Sea coast, eventually you say piss of @ss hole
etc...etc...etc... I believe in reconciliation, I see it everyday, when I see a Jew driving a German Mercedes Benz then I'm convinced that Turkey and all it's neighbours can live in a respectful peace...BUT take a look at the above list, you are Turkish, do you think your people are ready for this...Turkish journalist have tried in the past to raise these conversations only to be imprisoned because there are laws against being "Anti-Turk"
