We don't hate Armenians...

But unfortunately most of Armenians do hate Turks...

I can understand and share the pain of any Armenian who has lost someone during the events of 1915...But I also wish Armenians could understand and share the pain of any Turk who has lost someone during these tragic times...

If I hated Armenians, I would never buy anything in stores that are runned by Armenians...But I buy...I don't discriminate...
But if you observe the attitude of many Armenians in the Diaspora, you can generally notice that they avoid buying anything in a store runned by a Turk...How can we call this behaviour?...
Sometimes I meet some Armenians here in France, for business purpose...How can you explain their sudden change of attitude when they know my name ? When they see me, at first, they usually think I am Jewish,Italian,Portuguese,etc, because I don't have turkish accent, But when they realize that I am a Turk; then they change their mind, and "make a step backward", even avoiding to shake my hand, and they just say " Thank you, sir...I have to think about your offer , I'll call you next week,for sure"...And of course, they never call, even if the deal was the best offer...What a strange behaviour, isn't it ?

Hating someone JUST because of his/her citizenship/ethnicity is such a non-sense, don't you think ?

I'm Armenian...
On my part, I can say that we don't hate Turks. I can't say on Turkish behalf but I'm sure no normal person will support that kind of "hate".

Many of Turks might dislike Armenian government or the policy of Armenians in diaspora, on Armenian Genocide issue.
Since most of Turks have wrong view on Armenian Genocide (they think it has never happened), and they see we Armenians insisting on Genocide Recognition, of course in such situation they will dislike our way, our thoughts and policies.
Because according to their information (or I would say MISINFORMATION) on Armenian Genocide, they think that we are running a campaign against their country, while we don't have any enmity with their nation and country, we just want something that has happened, be recognized as it's real and true terminology.

I think, this is the real reason.

( Of course, there are some racist groups in Turkey who generally hate anyone except Turks, do you think they should be generalized to all Turks? I think no. And I think they shouldn't even be discussed since they aren't normal people but racial criminals. So I exclude this issue. )

I hope, when there be permission inside Turkey to openly discuss Armenian Genocide many people will then find a more realistic view on this tragic events.
Armenian Genocide should no more be a subject to make Armenians and Turks stand against each other.

Armenia does its own part and I think, that will be done with the help of all Turkish intellectuals and human rights activists.

from any other human being.
It is just human nature to dislike
anyone who flat out denies a
Genocide. For it is normal
to perceive the denier as
an abettor to a mass murderer

People like that are just not so

You see, we may have unpleasant feelings about the pushers of a lie, but "hating Armenians" would mean hating them for no reason other than being an Armenian. We don't have that feeling. We just hate the distortion of truth and the attacks on our history and our civilization.

Now cross the border and ask the same question to Armenians. You will see more racism and hate there than us. Reason? We couldn't care less, we have lives to live. And them?

Why do Armenians hate Turks?

In my opinion the real question should be this.

Why did they betrayal their adjacent neighbors?
Why did they kill their friends?
Why are they lying?
When and why did they invent this "genocide" thing?
What do they want?

Do you know there is just one answer for these all questions.

this is really adoration object for some of them I think.

They still want some lands and maybe oil and petroleum under them. They maybe think that if they achieve convict Turkey, because of bound immigration that Ottoman Empire had done, on international court or something like that they could take compensations from Turkey. Yes during Ottoman Empires sovereignity they forced Armenians for immigration. Because of betrayal of Armenians. Both of the happenings ( betrayal and immigration) caused many death from both sides.

Turk didn't do anything until this "genocige" lying was brought to the table by Armenians. We hadn't had any problem 25 years ago. Then some Armenians and lobbiests invented that problem. I belive they 've done this knowingly for a target that we couldn't know yet.

Even this realities I have many Armenian friends. I look them as a person who I liked. I don't think they are Armenians.

I don't know I think a lot of information gets distorted, lost and purposely forgotten in time. Historians aren't always average people, they are usually rich people who see things from a different angle. I'd be interested to find out why. It's probably something trivial anyway like land or religion. People have been fighting for land and religion for time immemorial

Turks certainly don't hate Armenians, in fact, I don't believe a nation as full of compassion as Turks exist on the surface of the earth. I think Turks as a nation is similar to Dostoеvskii's to Prince Mishkin.

I am a turk and I just hate those armenians who accuse us with the so called armenian "genocide"
we defended us against the armenian gangs back in the early 1900...even my grandpa and his brothers had to flee thats why I still dont know all of my relatives because they were splitted...but I also have armenian friends...but they know the truth and talk about it.
the conflict between the turks and armenians can only be solved when the armenians appologize to us for trying to put the blame on us and fooling the entire world by twisting the truth.

There have been some conflicts with both. Especially when the Ottoman turkish empire during WWI invaded Armenia and conducted the "Armenian Genocide," which is still debated today. Armenians claim the genocide occured, the turks deny it.

first .. we are talking things happen almost 100 years ago. at this moment we don't have eye witnesses or good testimonies for see the big picture. But we have some documents at our archives .. we can reach them for see whats was happen at eastern anatolia.

100~ years ago Ottomans and Russia was fight .. a brutal and big war .. 1000's dies at day's .. was a huge war , and general conditions about that war wasn't good for The Russian Empire .. that's why they try to start one of the first organized non - conventional war at human history.

They send lot of weapons (Inc.Maxim machine guns) and ammo and gold coins to Armenian gangs for kill the turkish villagers who living that area .. for two reason .. cut the logistic supply lines + create a chaos beyond the ottoman army lines. (I'm not approve this actions but I must said that .. This was a Brilliant Tactic to defeat the opponent)

Plan was works very well, Armenian gangs who carrie russian supplies and weapons cuts the ottoman logistic lines like sharpen knife and they kill the villagers for fear & chaos .. just like russian HQ's wanted.

It was a Shock for who fight at battlefields , no one won't expect someting like this .. thats why Ottoman army starts to quick retreat and loose serious soil and man power against russians. Until they re - group and re - supply at weeks later .. they start at attack for reach the old positions .. when they take back those lands from the russian army with more and serious loose they saw terrible screens at turkish villages.

Armenian gangs was kill every body at those villages, inc.childs, elders , womens .. even animals... stop there .. and think.

100 years ago, you are one of the soldier who train fight with enemy .. you had a gun & ammo .. also you had enough combat experience .. and we are talking about your village, your wife, your sun, your daughter, your mother .. they kill your entire family, they burn your house .. what do u gonna do? How u can stop your burning hearth? How u can defeat Nightmares from your brain?

Today many turk wan't a good relation with Armenia ( even people doesn't like Armenians .. they said "aye, I don't like them but they are our neighbours , thats why we shout start relations with them ) .. hope our border lines will open soon, If this happen ( I'm sure about that ) anger turns to acceptance soon.

well it's because turks and armenians we're fighting in the 1800 and in the early 1900. they conquered almost three quarters of armenia, and killed one and a half million armenians in world war 1! and the worst part is that their denying everything and saying that armenians killed them! which is SO NOT TRUE!
it's not only armenians they against, they fought against greece, cyprus, bulgaria and killed of people!

and btw, if turkish people despise armenians, what do you think armenians fell about them?
