Thank you very much! You seem a great person and I think you are saying that from your heart!
And a very Happy New Year to you! |

I'm happy to congratulate them whole-heartedly. I'm happy for them to come here too with just one condition which is 'don't take the piss'. You know what I mean by that.
Bulgaria and Romania were both Communist countries strongly influenced politically by the USSR. You can't pretend otherwise but things have changed and that's no reason not to make them welcome. |

be good

Look let's say that entering those countries in EU is good for the EU, is it good for the Bulgarians and the Romanians? I mean that here in Greece the average salary per month is something between 800 and 1000 euros and we hardly live. In Bulgaria they earn about 150 euros per month and the prices of the products have become similar to those in Greece how are they going to live? |

A HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and CONGRATULATIONS for Bulgaria and MY WONDERFUL COUNTRY, ROMANIA ! Did you know that Romanian is the single language in what, for the wishes of new year or birthday, is used the plural. I mean we always wish many, many happy years, not only one? |

They are both corrupt countries and their citizens were lining up last year to get visa's to the UK, (who had enough with the Polish invasion). I hope Blair gets smarter this time. |

Yeah and why don't we hammer our foot to the floor boards too! The richer nations are going to be supporting all these ex-Soviet countries with all their crime and corruption. Has the EU gone quite mad??? Great! I can kiss the value of my Euros goodbye!
What next...Albania??? They haven't even learned what goverment and law enforcement are yet.
Oh well, ther goes my New Years resolution of being more caring and understanding.
I am not prejudiced...I am a realist. Please enlighten me as to what Bulgaria and Romania can bring to the EU. |
