Am I right that you are wanting the price of beer & prostitutes to stay low in Poland so that Polish men can avail of both vices? Polish immigrants in th UK are starting to be looked upon in an unfavourable light because they work for less money than UK counterparts and do not really add to the economy as was first claimed (they take the money back to Poland and can claim back tax under certain circumstances). There are therefore issues in UK with Polish men so your comments are a bit naive and do not take into account the bigger picture. If English men visit Poland and spend huge amounts of money (by Polish Standards) then it is boosting Polish Economy. The only thing the English take back to the UK is hangovers & exotic stds. Nice |

Why are you lot coming across to England and taking up cheap labour and putting our own people on the bread-line, you drink here and cause just as much bother so stop moaning and count yourselves lucky we have a weak government, oh by the way, if we come across to you just to drink don't forget we have to pay for our travel expenses and the women and the drink, you don't give anything free like some over here do, our freedom passes ect... |

most Brits go to Poland for stag party, but i think it will soon end because in England many poles work for minimum wage, and a resentment of poles is developing. no well paid work anymore. its hard for everyone now. |

Yeah, sorry about that.
It seems that if you're a lairy, drunken, dim, sexually inadequate man, Poland (and indeed much of eastern europe) is a great place to go on holiday, as the beer is cheap and so are the whores.
Please don't think that all english men are like this, we're not. You're just unlucky enough to only have had dealings with the worst of us. This is an unfortunate result of the opening up of european borders, and the advent of cheap air travel. |

Well polish people come over here and take up jobs so it's hard for english men to get jobs.. I think your view is selfish |

Get all your workers to come home then and all the beer ect can go only to Polish people. |

Prepare yourself for a load of abusive idiots who will be sharing one brain cell.
I live in Poland and I am ashamed of my so-called countrymen who come to Poland and make prats of themselves on the streets of Krakow. :O(
Some facts for a silly little person called Kimberle... and the rest of you.
As a Brit living in POLAND, and taking advantage of my freedom to work throughout the EU, I'm constantly surprised that well-educated Central and Eastern Europeans want to move to the UK, given the level of ignorance displayed by some, but not all of my fellow countrymen on sites like this. Perhaps it's because they've realised that the competition in the UK is not all that tough as our friend Kimberle and friends... has displayed through her ignorance and low level of intelligent discussion.
Here's how it works. There are NOT a fixed number of jobs in the UK, or in any other country. An immigrant worker doesn't "take" a job that someone else has been doing; they take a job that is vacant. And by spending their money in the UK, even on overpriced housing, they create new jobs.
Don't believe me? Look at the figures. In October 2005 (i.e. just after Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, etc) joined the EU, there were 351,000 job vacancies posted in Job Centres in the UK. In October 2006, the comparable figure was 361,000, after a year in which several hundred thousands of immigrants came to the UK to work.
So my question for the economically illiterate among you is this - exactly which jobs did they take?[UK official statistics for the job market available at nomisweb.co.uk ]
And as for the idea that immigrants are here to grow lazy on UK benefits - there are 510,000 Central & Eastern Europeans who have (to date) registered on the Home Office's worker registration scheme. Approximately 55,000 - i.e. 11%- claim tax credits or child benefit. Only 350 are claiming income support, and 859 job seeker's allowance. These figures courtesy of the Daily Mail (22 November), which estimates an annual cost of "up to GBP 60 million."
This may well be right. But hang on a moment - these 510,000 registered immigrants are all legal, and captured in the tax system. Let's assume they all earn the minimum wage only, work for 40 hours a week, and earn GBP 214. Working 45 weeks per year, total income is GBP 9630, and total income tax and national insurance payable GBP 1257. This means the UK govt. gets some GBP 641 million in tax receipts from immigrants - 10 times the amount paid out - and guess what - the balance is spent on services for the rest of us.(OK - the govt. may waste it on silly foreign adventures, but that's another problem).
So my second question for the statistically challenged among you is this - who benefits financially from immigration?
My two points are these. One - immigrants create jobs, and contribute more to the UK than they take out. And two - try and debate on the basis of facts, not ignorance and prejudice.
Let's just hope that some of the children turn out to be good cricketers, rugby players or footballers ... we could do with the help ...
And knuckledragon if that is some kind of reasoned argument for letting these morons on the streets of Krakow, then my friend you are surely lacking in intelligence.
Would you let a load of moronic drunks from Poland all over the streets of London all the time no you wouldn't, then why the hell should Poland.
It's time to get tough with these idiots and throw them into prison. !!!!!!!!!!
And a breath of fresh air below hear! hear! "willstri..." |

Sorry, but its so cheap in comparison to Britain, heres an idea why not come and work in Britain, then take your earnings out off the country, then buy a house back in your home land!
Is this an original idea, I dont think so. |

Well, my illiterate polish friend, allow me to insert my 5 cents here.
a) in your language, my country is called Ukraina - just like in mine
b) there's not that many Ukrainian whores in Poland because your own women are readily available; most Ukies are actually trying to sneak into the UK or US |

I think the problem you have highlighted is one the Polish people have to address themselves. If Polish men could afford to come to the UK for cheap beer and prostitues would they say "no, hang on it will make for more expensive lives for the English people!" I very much doubt it. Its human nature to pursue a good time at a reduced price (look at Happy hour promotions) and you have answered you own question. So many 'English mens' go to Poland because it is cheap by UK standards. It is a certain type of men however, and if it wasnt Poland, they would just inflict their yobish culture somewhere else..... Cheap beer & whores for everyone I say, not just the Polish. |

Well in all fairness, Polish are making lives miserable for the Brits since they are taking all the jobs and lowering wages. So both sides are screwing each other. Funny your complaint is the beer cost more LOL |
