I've found the same to be true, unfortunately. My Turkish husband uses the excuse that sex was so hard to come by as a young man, that once they're adults....they have to do all the sampling they missed as young men! They tend to be charming with the ladies, a bit culturally macho and often are good-looking. There is not a stigma regarding adultery on the man's part....it's almost expected, but a woman would be thought of much more poorly. No real answers, except letting them know the dire consequences of losing the best thing that ever happened to them!! (or threatening a second circumcision....) ;-)

There are very loyal ones and there are womanizers but i don't think it is valid only for Turkish guys. I hear many stories like this from many girls with other nations' guys, too.
But I am just a girl, what do i know:))

turkish men are very charming. the resort workers are the worst for this offence. they know what to say and how to act to make naive women fall head over heels. lots will have a few women on the go at the same time. some will wait until their romance is on her plane home before hunting his next prey. they are very clever about the way they go about it. and the way they make women believe they are thier only askims.
they promise them the world. of coarse they can never give them the world but these women are so taken in by it that they believe anything.
a lot of women are usually older and the turk is a toyboy. you would think older (i mean 20-30years older) women would know better. but they dont. they are a lot more gullible. these women part with thousands of pounds of cash to fund their toyboys lives. by them that bar or house, which of coarse will go in the turks name. these women dont learn. i am a member of a few turkish related websites and the amount of women who write asking for advise in such situations, and dont take the advise they are given is shocking! they wont be tols simply because they are living in a fantasy world.
some women i feel sorry for, others i do not.
these men will keep getting away with it for as long as there are vunerable women to be had.

You can't generalize dear. If you go to other sections in Yahoo answers, it's not only confined to Turks alone. Men worldwide have been known to have a wandering eye and it is up to us women how to handle our relationships. Take for example Warren Beatty, one of the greatest playboys of all time. Only one woman managed to tame his ways.

Don't let a couple of bad experiences disenchant you with Turkish men. There are also a lot of good guys out there.

Everyone engage in flings men included. I personally do not consider meeting men during holidays as serious prospects. Women should have a good head on their shoulders.

It's good he dumped her before marrying her. Marrying her knowing he didn't love her would be a bigger mistake.

Not only in Turkey-everywhere-and it has been like this since the beginning of times! So, it will never stop and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it as it is human nature (not even, animals do it too)! Religions imposed us with only one husband/wife and maybe if they hadn't, it wouldn't be such a big problem today. Women, actually behave the same way, only more secretive! So, we got two choices, either live with it and just accept that fact or live miserably!

People have the same nedds and reactions and feelings all over the world.Then i know turkish people, who are very closed to their traditions, and they wouldnt do it for respect to their principles..Also greeks..
Love, feelings, and reactions in love have nothing to do with the countries..All the human beings all around the world are the same..
And be sure, that the western societies have eliminated the principles, not the oriental ones like greeks, arabs turks..We still keep them fortunately..

That's not true at all. Turkish men are men and don't need a special category to place them in. You're friends must have plain bad luck when it comes to MEN, so tell them to get over it and stop blaming it on where the guy is from.

of course they know its true, because they ve seen their relatives to that, for them thats normal,
they dont believe it is wrong to be dating various girls, its a different point of vue

just accept it and Know that if you are with a Turkish guy, he can be with other girls

its just a matter of beliefs
