Macedonian army is ready. One call and they are down-there!
We helped the Iraqis, the Afghans, why not to our close neighbors? We help all non-develop countries. |

What you are sugesting is a massacre think about you have written, Greece is a sovereing country as any other and they wouldn't never allow foreing military forces interference to solve politic internal problems. |

This kind of provocative question just makes us feel pity for you...
Where are you really from and what's your motive?
That's a Greek internal affair, and they will overcome this issue, for sure.
"Tanks and F16", uh? Wow, the trollic level has reached summits of stupidity, bravo! |

There is no war going on. Don't try to create false impressions. If we needed army, we have our own. Let us handle the situation our way, we are past the times when tanks would go up against kids with stones. Of course some other countries haven't, and that is why kids in Palestine are killed every day. |

Of course other countries would come to the aid of Greece upon request, ..... But the important part of that statement is surely "upon request" . Invading another country with F16's is hardly going to help now is it!
Liken it to a family. If you are having an arguement which you can contain as part of family life, then you are not going to appreciate the neighbours barging in with their ideas on how to solve it. However, if your house gets flooded then a little neighbourly support is usually appreciated |

Greece has its own military force, which is very developed for such a small country.
The thing is that politicians didn't want even police to be aggressive, you can imagine that they didn't want army to interfere too.
It would be a hurt to the democracy of our country this thing, army hasn't in Greece the power it has in Israel, exactly because there isn't such a need to make it so very important.
As Pinazi said, we don't have a war.
I also think that we are somewhat unfair towards Police in general. Their job is one of the worst paid in the public services and one of the most (the most) dangerous. They face danger everyday and they don't take a good pension after 23 years of shaving Bouboulina, as our army does (sorry, don't want to insult anybody but...).
Of course this doesn't mean that they don't have to live up to the expectations of their profession. |

You wanna put the military in against civilians protesting.... ??????
And your even suggesting to put in a foreign military force against them? I dont know where you are from, but that sounds insane to me...
These are 15 year old kids thats trying to prove something by throwing rocks at the police for christ sake.. not a war zone |

Why would they want other peoples armies when they won't allow their own military to interfere? They have a capable military with tanks, guns, weapons, jets etc. half bought from the Americans, they can use if they want BUT they don't want to use military force because the last time they used military force over 40 students were killed and it didn't solve anything except for more desturction. That is why they are not using their OWN military, never mind other peoples military. |

I wouldn't go as far as that! But I was thinking that the so called 'riot' police could do with being trained - UK always seems to handle (most) situations efficiently - their riot police always work together as one barrier - instead of coming down to the thugs level of throwing things back. |
