It remains to be seen. Looks very bad right now and I believe it will get worse. I feel bad about the Russian people and actually about the whole world.

Living in a neighbour country to Russia and knowing how many people my country lost during World War II (of course the other part too) when we were at war against each other (The Soviet Union attacked us), makes me really scared!

Putin wants to be a dictator, thatÂ´s for sure.

How can this world ever find peace, when there is always one lunatic somewhere, who gets all the power and democracy is just a word without meaning!

Many western democracies are equally corrupt. The US is controlled by only two parties - and its very hard to tell them apart. The UK has a very restricted democracy and no constitution... etc.

Don't be so hard on Russia. It will gradually become more democratic as people become better off and have more time to think about big issues. Democracy took centuries to develop in other countries - Russia has only been trying for a few years.

we have our own democracy as France or USA....
I think democracy regime works good just in country of first world,but not in the second countres world and what do you want?....Why you deslike Russian democracy?Here some one which said Putin making communism-simple comment of american FOXmanian guy,communists have 11% of support and Parlament consists from 4 parties and if org of jew-azer Kasparov which have support of few thouthands people want destroy russian freedom and independence with country power from Uncle Sam tellings whole russian nation will hate this azer-jew Kasparov.Its not prapaganda,its just way to make real dictation of one man as in Georgia and having support of USA,but democracy would be dead.So i can say Russian parties have one nation interests as Democrats and Republicans in USA,some freaks in Russia dont support nation interests,thats why Nation deslike them and Fox shows it like repression on jew-azers or who else...

And with any democracy the people are servile, just in their own way. Democracy is defined as majority rule. If the majority of the population consists of idiots that don't know where the country they're bombing is on the map, should the sane minority bow down before them?

True democracy usually ends when people start talking about "special democracy" or "our own type of democracy" which is what Russians have been talking about for the last 17 years. They also have that kind of "democracy" in places like Pakistan

NO Russia will not become a democracy.it;s going back to a communist country.PUTIN will try to bring down the way of government that is now in power.then Russia will reinstate the communist government.under the orders of Putin.he;s another man that can;t be trusted.but then again could the Russians ever be trusted.just take a look at all the treaties they signed.they broke just about everyone of them.Putin will try and make his move within the next year or two if not sooner.
