Eli what do you mean God is on a side of peacekeepers? Kiddo,don't believe everything you hear on the TV. Your army is abroad because of money and nothing else. When the states don't have interest and benefit in some way,they don't help that country. Recently it was Kosovo because of NATO bases and Iraq because of oil.
US nation should wake up and realize how much money your government is spending on army(i personally know a few ppl who told me how much certain things cost,it's f**** stupid!) and NASA while there are so many people in the states who can't afford to see a doctor or send their kids to school,pay for their rent,feed their children or buy them a new pair of shoes. I think a leader should take care of his own people first before starting to interfere in other nation's lives and start to stir up $hit in middle east or wherever. The same with our planet,why wouldn't you explore planet Earth which still has great mysteries and unknown species,so many unexplained things. It would cost way less and i think we would actually benefit from it rather than discovering new planets. how does that prolong our lives?

I am Russian and there is not even discussion about invading the U.S.
I heard what is on Western Media but it is not true! This is only the people with the big mouths and no brains that say stupid things like "War with Russia" There is no popular sentiment for War with U.S.

Even if America is distracted they still have enough Nuclear Weapons to make Russia Back off, same with Russia, it has enough Nuclear Weapons to make America back off.

From my understanding Russia has no desire to strike the US. And if it did, they would need the help of China to do it! And they would succeed. But China would not help. China don't like Americans either but I know that just about everything we have here in the US is made in China! Why kill the hand that feeds you???? I don't think Russia would waste time trying to invade the US. It's not like we're sitting ducks but just we don't have the money to invest in another war. Hello!? We still got troops in Iraq and technically we are ALLIES with Russia, not enemies. Though the US and EU have some disagreements with a few situations concerning Russia, there should be no worries.

I know that Russia arn't as strong as the US but they have reliable allies. I don't think that the US' allies will help them. After all they are the most hated country in the world.

wow. you must have been stocking up the duct tape following the 9/11 attack. take it easy. things aren't that bad. if i were you i would rather worry about the direct consequences of the financial crisis and ts effect on the u.s. economy then about imaginery prospects of an attack on the u.s. soil by russia or venezuela. also, many countries in the world may dislike the u.s. but hardly any country wants the destruction of the u.s. you know, there is a long way from mere dislike to the wish of destroying one's adversary.

I think the US should no longer exist. I don't mean like wipe us out or anything like that, simply start a new government with a new name and give more power the governor of each state and less to the president.

Its thinking like that that drove US to where it is now, US politics are hated by most countries in the world, including most of Europe, and the reason why the economy is in such deep sh*t.
No one wants to destroy the states, is the propaganda that they feed people there that says so.

In a word, NO. There is no point or purpose for that. Nor for the U.S. to attack Russia. In spite of the rhetoric I think there are strong bonds of friendship. Putin is of the old thinking. The Russian people are just like Americans. We have the same hopes and dreams. People are people. Yes, there are differences, climate, culture, language. But Russian people, like Americans, are warm and generous and friendly. Don't judge until you have first hand experience. Also, do not mistake the ramblings of government or military people for the thinking of the general population.
As to your theory about oil and more well...that is hard to say. It is obvious that America has made some mistakes in policy there. The Russian governement feels threatned by the expansion of NATO and the proposal of a missle defense system. I hope that someone will stop and pause and find a solution good for all. We should really ask Russia's help with problems in Iran. Venezula? Well you know what they say about bullies. Hugo Chavez is a big brat, who cares what he thinks or does. Most importat for all of us I think is a massive reduction in oil comsumption, that will silence many problems we have today.
Russia overreacted in Georgia but Georgia did start it. We need to extend our hand in friendship and make a better world.
I think the Russian people will prefer to be our friends if we show them friendship as well. My wife is Russian and we can see these things from the peoples point of view, not the government.

if anything started which is unlikly then there wouldnt be no US or RUSSIA maybe a little of russia becuase it is so big but if anything starts all the nuclear bombs are going to fly around and at the end
lots of people are going to be dead and RUSSIAN and US are like the most power full countries right now so i dont think tey will fight any time soon

I agree with you, there definitely is something more going on. They are flexing their muscles for sure, but I hope they don't mistake our decency for weakness. We may have our flaws here in America, but we're still the greatest country on earth. It would be an ugly situation if the US and Russia went to war, but God is on the side of the people that represent freedom. Their bullying will come to an end, along with the prideful Hugo Chavez and the likes of dictators like him.

You want to compare the number of functioning aircraft carriers? How about number of full time Army personnel vs conscripts? Ships? Aircraft less than 20 years old? Stealth bombers, UAV's?

Russia spends 70 billion a year on their military, 12% of the USA. You really think its even close comparison? Without Nukes, the Russian military has zero capabilities vs. America, while America has lots of bases near Russia.

You are very narrow minded. Russia would not start another cold war because it would once again awake a "sleeping giant". Russias military is nowhere near as strong as it was during the Soviet era.
