Love - I have a Turkish husband and he's the sweetest, kindest and nicest man you could ever hope to meet. He works extremely hard and isn't afraid of hard work.

Take your time with the man you've met and get to know him. Yes there are 'rats' in Turkey just as there are in the UK and everywhere across the world. Go with your instincts and treat the relationship exactly the same as you would if you were in a relationship with a man from the UK (or wherever you live)!!! As for not texting or e-mailing, if he's been working in a resort the chances are that he'll be finishing work any time now if not already and will be making his way back home and they don't get paid a lot. Also depending on where he is from he might not have access to the internet. Most families who live in rural Turkey don't have a computer and will have to go into the nearest town to get internet access. As i've previously said go with you instincts - they rarely let you down.

Just Me - where do you get off on saying that they are only after a British Passport, what facts do you base your statement on? It's statements like that the give the Turks a bad name.

dont listen to those idiots 'he's after a passport' not EVERY person from every country has the same motives/ideas/personality. Turkish people are really nice people, however in every country there are bad people. pisses me off when people that no nothing outside their own culture feel they have the right to generalize other cultures. its just pure ignorance!
Just because someone knows someone bad doesnt mean every person in the countries like that. yes there are men in turkey and in other countries who will try to play women for a passport but this is a minority!!
ask yourself why are people tellin u not to contact him/look at him?? is it because they dont approve of u being with anyone outside your own nationality? if so tell them to get over it...things are changin now and these ignorant people need to get a grip and deal with it.

that's very weird he doesn't contact you. normally turkish men phones, asks, always caring and affectionate to their girlfriends and wife's. and jealous. i would not think much of him if he does not call you at all. i would know i have a turkish husband. not every turkish men are the same depends on his money and social statues in turkey i guess. if your boy friend is waiter or anything like that i would not put my hopes high

Men are men, there are good and bad ones. Same we have here in Turkey.
There are lots of Turkish people living abroad and would never think to get married just for a passport.
Just wait and see..Trust your heart!

some relationships work, some don't. It doesn't make any difference what nationality someone is. Turkish men do seem to have a terrible reputation for some reason. My dad is Turkish & my mum is English. They have had a long and happy marriage, so to all the sceptics out there, IT CAN WORK

OMG i so agree with you! I'm in middle school and there is this turkish guy and who i have a very big crush on! I don't see why people are so harsh about turkish people they are so - squealing- charming,cute,sensitive oh what the heck the list can go on!!!

Hate to say it but if hes something like a waiter etc,hes probably in touch with half a dozen western women.Many Turkish men are indeed very charming,they practice being that way.But theyre often charming with more than one at a time.Chances are it was a holiday romance type of thing and he didnt take it seriously,you being unfortuantely one of many each holiday season.

If hes in the same country as yourself then try to find out more about his life over here,maybe say you will go to visit him a week or two down the line and see what his reaction is

If he doesn't text or e-mail you much, it is possible that he is just being a guy. I know many cases when the guy, even if he is interested, doesn't remember to contact the girl so very often.

Just observe his attitude. Is he really acting interested when you talk/message? Then it may work. If he is cold, too, he maynot be worth YOUR interest.

They respect me, because I'm a Briton .. they want relation with me because they after a U.K passport etc.etc what a wretched logic .. shame .. shame.

love,i had a friend in the military who went to someplace in turkey and did u know rape on an american woman is acceptable over there.The turkish men treat their dogs better than the woman,the woman are just pieces of meat.I hope you think twice about this relationship.
