i would either go with a friend or with my mum
when I'm alone, everything is boring, even Sharm el Sheik |

I traveled alone many times and it is really a fantastic experience. You are totally alone in the middle of nowhere, I love that feeling.
Security, no problem. I would only recommend you to be careful with men, if you are not into one night stand. |

I am too self conscious to do anything like that. This means you are much too outgoing than myself.
I would recommend groups, because you would have somebody to talk to, relate to and feel safe among. Even the safest places feel lonely and strange at times.
Still, go girl. Why lose the initiative spirit? |

Going yourself is not unsafe or bad. But.. if you have company, you will have much more fun.Your friend will have an idea when you don't have.
Have fun. |

Yes, I would. I have done it. I went to the Caribbean (Trinidad & Tobago - the Trinidad side and Barbados) by myself. I also went to U.S.A on my own and I reside in Toronto, Canada.
It depends on where you're going. You should be safe as long as there is no danger. |

Going by yourself is a great idea, however you still are very young! If you have traveled a lot before, go and do it though, if not, wait a few more years! Traveling by yourself means you have to take care of everything by yourself! It is both a challenge and a very good learning experience! Those countries are very safe, so nothing to worry about! |

If I didn't know the language, then I'd bring somebody with me. If I knew the language, then I'd go by myself. I think if you go into a country without knowing the language, it can be a bit scary because if you get lost or run into a problem, you won't be able to handle it. |

I think you should go on your own, if my parents allowed me I'd be on a train touring Europe! But it more or less depends on your behavior, your intelligence, experience etc. Also you should organize thoroughly where you are going to accommodate and what places you are going to visit. If you are confident enough, why not? I recommend Turkey and from there perhaps to Northern Cyprus. I've heard a lot about Egypt and I personally wouldn't go to Egypt all by myself. But again, probably mine is just prejudice and exaggeration. Because I haven't been there but you should consult this with people who have been to those places to get an idea about how safe they are. |

Ive traveled by myself, and its nice too you know.
I encourage you to travel alone, but choose the place which is 'generally' safe.
Have a nice holidays and hope this will help :D |

Yes, I would definately go, and take advantage of my freedom to visit any place I like without anybody's control. |

Be sure that you will be safer than walking by the Central Park... |

I would of course.. Just make sure you learn everything you can about the place you plan to visit.. |

I personally wouldnt go by myself . Especially to another country. Besides you'd probably have more fun with someone to share everything with. |

I always go alone for congresses, but i find colleagues there. For holidays i would get bored, thats why i would avoid it.Then, it depends on the country. In European countries, yes, i travel alone, because in europe as european citizen i feel comfortable and more protected..In the others, sometimes the principles and the structures of the society, are different from the western ones, so it is better to have local people there, friends who will make you feel better, security in all senses...I always have wherever i go, so i never faced problems... |

If I promised not to get on my nerves than I would go with myself. If you are female then the countries you picked are not your best bet though. |

first coupe of day going alone is wonderful. you are all by yourself and having rest. but after the fourth day you will get bored. Beside you are going abroad so a friend will be fine. |

I would advise against going abroad by yourself. It's especially risky being a female. Find a fun travel buddy or two to go along with you. I think you'd end up enjoying yourself much more. |

I wouldn't.
Not that I would be scared but I am kinda shy and feel insecure in places where I don't know.. I would even loose my sense of direction- which is already very poor :) - and probably end up getting lost ten times a day.
I also don't believe it would be fun to see new things and won't be able to share your thoughts with somebody. |

I would, but it seems that the countries you're thinking about might not be the best option. Too much unrest. |
