I rather to be accompanied. I hate loneliness, I fear it and it bores me too!!!. I want to be with people, not all the time (I need my personal space, my intimate moments, of course) but I don't like to be alone. When I travel, I like to share the moment with a beloved person (friend, girlfriend or relative). And, altough I'm very sympathetic, I'm a little shy when I'm abroad and no one can help me if I don't know or don't understand anything!!!
I'm very independent, even a little individualist, but travelling is (for me) for sharing with people with the same interests as yours.

Yes and No :) Alone you do what you like and when you like.. Other hand its nice to share the experience with someone else and sometimes can be fun with company.. I normally travel alone through Eastern Europe 4 weeks at a time.. Like answer above said you always meet people around..

I wouldn`t travel alone if I were woman, but yes I do travel alone.It`s sometimes much better than travelling with incompatible companions.

Of course, I love traveling alone. I don't know, even if I am alone sitting on a bench, I don't 'feel' alone or depressed. I like it that way, it's better than having someone with me.

I've been married at 18 with a nice and considerate man but now,I wish I had done some traveling alone.Now I'm 47 and I always travel with him,not complaining though.Yia sou.
