My favorites:
1. Naleśniki (and they are NOT like pancakes - those you eat with maple syrup. Polish pancakes are bigger and thinner, and you eat them usually with some stuffing like marmalade, minced meat, cottage cheese with sugar or mushrooms with cabbage
2. Gołąbki - stuffed with minced meat, dried mushrooms and rice
3. Pierogi - stuffed with minced meat, or with cottage cheese/potatoes/onions (ruskie pierogi)
4. Barszcz czerwony - not buraczkowa zupa
5. Bigos
6. Kiełbasa - there are usually three types: thin, to be eaten boiled or grilled; thin (often dried), to be eaten as cold meat (in slices or small chunks), and thick, to be eaten in slices, like cold meats. I like all of them.
7. Sernik na zimno or zimny.
And that's all. I hate flaczki!!!

I am not too familiar with many Polish foods but my Grandmother who was born in Poland made some wonderful pierogi's when I was very young. I still remember them after 49 years. they were stuffed with plums.

LoveBites
4 love it!~!!

Biedronka
Yes, but what kind of kielbasa? There are thousands of different sorts!
I like Pierogi z gzybami y kapusta, Nalesniki are just plain old pancakes, so nothing special!

Golombki are nice. We picked up a few in the forest close to where my family live. Nice in batter and fried.
Bigos is my favorite because it is easy to cook at home.

For drinking I like Miold and Krupnik.

DJ 4 Walls
Definitely pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms :) It's very tasty :)

Out of these my favourite are pierogi with cabbage (sauerkraut) and mushrooms as well as gołąbki.
Btw, Biedronka meant gołąbki as mushrooms, not as the Polish meal (rice with minced meat and mushrooms rolled in cabbage leaves)
As for Polish naleśniki, they are different than pancakes. They are a lot thinner and in fact, they look like crepes. You can put some jam or cottage cheese filling in them. They're nice too.
And do you know krokiety? They're yummy!

kabanos_sniffer
i would have to say pierogi
but i did just have golombki for dinner so my judgement might be a bit off..

My favourite Polish food are Ruskie pierogi (this is mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and onions). For dessert, I love kisiel because it is light and not a food that weighs your stomach down. Żurek is a fantastic soup. I am vegan, so I can't eat a lot of Polish foods...if I am having pierogi, I have to use vegan cheese.
