istanbul bogazi
mother tongue Turkish. I speak 5 more languages...

? ? ? I. A. ? ? ?
My mother tongue is Turkish, as I am a native Turk.
But my situation is a little particular, because I came in France when I was 2 years old, and I grew up in a french background (school,friends,etc...)...
That's why I have a liitle french accent when I'm talking in Turkish...I speak French even better than most of French people, but unfortunately I realize that my Turkish is sometimes a little weak ( vocabulary and grammar).
Other than that, I can also speak Spanish and English...
I can understand some Italian and Portuguese, especially when I read it ( many similarities with French and Spanish).
I can understand the Azeri-Turkish, as it has the same roots as Anatolian Turkish ( but it sometimes sounds weird )
I phonetically "know" some Arabic, because I am a Muslim, and because the prayers are in Arabic for all the Muslims of the world ( no matter which ethnicity they may be )...

So I can say, in reality :

- Turkish
- French
- Spanish
- English

..Tolia..
Greek (Native Speaker)

some German / French

Turkish (I am learning! )

Arabic and German ... I understand Arabic spoken in Syrian dialect and if I have to I can say things like "me Tarzan you Jane". That's it about Arabic. For German I understand some of written and spoken German...I was once a pre-intermediate German speaker but lost most of it. I need to activate my knowledge on that one.

The Babe is Armed!
Mother tongue - English.

I always joke that since I lived in Louisiana that Iearned English as a second language, but that's a joke you would have to live in Louisiana to really appreciate.

I also speak Arabic on like an 8-year-old level. I read it a lot better than that.
I can order food and conduct shopping in both Turkish and the Behdini dialect of Kurdish.

I have also learned that I can say "Hello, I'm a good guy" in lots of languages without saying a word. A smile and an open hand is a good greeting to know, but impossible for some people to master, for some reason.
