"About Trolls" We fall into the trap everytime for now on lets just respond with,?

I do it too, but it only encourages them, lets just respond with peaceful greetings, and kindness.

Do you think we can do this?

I am not saying I don't enjoy "A battle of wits with an unarmed person" oops there I go again,, Last time I promise, Really, honest

Exactly.
Lets do this: Respond with really kind comments and report the same question. If more than 5-10 people report it, Yahoo deletes it and suspends the account.

Sometimes it is really very hard not to respond with witty comments. I mean, they make such good passes. Still, I don't respond immediately. A trollish question with no answer makes the questioner look stupid. If somebody else answers, I take a shot, too.

Did you read that blondie? Why don't you change your hair style? Fake bright yellow looks stupid on that swarthy head!

I also agree with Dellarovere. When it is history the troll envokes, you have to think about other readers and show the truth about things. These guys have been speaking without challenge for too long.

Dellarovere
I think that the answer to this issue lies in the middle. There are some cases when the "question" has to be answered for other Yahoo users not to be misleaded, but there are also other cases when an answer to a metally disturbed person is useless, as the "question" itself is evidently absurd and ridiculous....

Hello Sir, how are you?

I wish you a happy day..

Boring, eh?

:D

:(
i recommended this idea before and everybody agreed... then i think they changed their mind....

Joannah
Here in this section, it's a two-way street I'm afraid. Normally, I'd ignore senseless questions but in issues concerning sensitive matters, I'd rather stick to my guns and not cower in retreat of ignoring this "troll" for the sake of civility, I don't think I could allow that kind of misinformation to be read by people who know nothing about it.

As we always say, Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie!'...till you can find a rock

We cannot ignore them everytime, because we just cannot let them tell propaganda...
Concerning the ridiculous questions, we may all answer the same thing, on a polite way, and so the troll will be disapointed.
In fact these trolls want to make us angry, so let's not show them..

I admire the answers of Tanju Abi : He even says "Take care" to Jean ...

But whatever we say, we ALWAYS must report abuse.

JHMHSI
Nope. I have nothing nice to say to trolls. In fact, I don't want to waste my time with them, so I just automatically report them and ignore their question. Just don't answer it at all.

mertev
I stopped answering the morons

Yes,Pearl is right....we all agreed that we wont answer them anymore but some of us did.I know it`s hard but we all should really try that`s the only way we can get rid of them.
