1- Eiffel Tower
2- Louvre
3- Moulin Rouge
4- Arc de Triomphe
5- Notre Dame
6- Shopping at the markets.
7- Champs-Elysees
8- Luxembourg Gardens and Saint-Germain des Pres
9- Latin Quarter
10- Versailles (a bit out of the way)

But it all depends if you like museums vs shopping vs nature.

If you really want to do something original, cheap (18 euros) but unforgettable, I suggest the outdoor park "France Miniature". You will see all the French monuments in miniatures: cathedrales, churches, castles, famous sightseeings from North to South and from East to West of France.
It's a 2/3 hours outdoor visit.
It's located 20 miles west of Paris with easy commute.

Have fun!

Chez George's underground bar, in Odeon/St Germain.

The ancient underground grave yard too is fasinating.
