supergirl
How brisk is your brisk? If you don't stop, don't take any 'de tours' and don't have anybody to slow you down, I would think it's do-able in 30-45 minutes.

Celebriel
Place de la Republique and the Louvre are about 2 miles apart.

you would easily get there in less than 30 mn. I recommend walking a straight line through les Halles :)

I would allow about 35 minutes.

The distance is actually about 1 mile. How fast you can walk that is best known to you.

Dennis T
6 Hours.
