Antique/flea markets in France?

We are driving to Spain this weekend, and were supposed to be stopping off at a massive flea market in Normandy, Les Andelys. My friend, whose house we were going to stay in overnight has let us down therefore we will probably continue driving.

Are there any other large antiques/flea markets in France this weekend? Any websites?

By far the biggest is an annual event in Lille - but you've just missed it this year. They had over a million visitors.
The web site I always use to find my way through the very many local flea markets and brocante (the French equivalent of a car boot sale) is
http://vide-greniers.org/
you type in a region or departement and it will list all the flea markets for the coming months.

hundreds the French love this and us Brits come over great markets in Spain to get a local news paper when you arrive in Spain and it will tell you where and when?have a great time www.pidf.com

HI,

The biggest flea market is near Paris "Les puces de Paris". It's huge ! There are both antiques and flea markets products.
You can visit this page for antique shops in Paris : http://www.paris-city-guide.com/paris-shopping/paris-antique-shops.html
And this page for flea market: http://www.paris-city-guide.com/paris-shopping/flea-markets.html
