The most popular cigarette brand in France is Marlboro.

Its not like France is some third world country or located on the moon. While not every American and British cigarette brand is available everywhere, you'll find a selection of familiar brand names in most places.

Popular French brands include Gauloises and Gitanes although neither brand is actually produced in France these days due to the tax policies of the French government.

well, the most known and tasty french cigarettes are Gauloises. actually the first time i ever smoked that, it was a german girl that was fond of (i used to smoke Marlboro), but for that time, i do smoke that brand. i d recommend you the Red Gauloises (Blondes). There are also Blue (Browns).

btw if you want to smoke american / english cigarettes, you'll easily find it: marlboro, peter stuyvesant, etc are everywhere.

NB: a 20-cigarettes pack is 4.50 / 5.00 €.

you should just bring your own.

Most cigarettes are American made though. . . if you smoke malboro reds right now, you can try Gauloise otherwise a lot of French smoke Philip Morris, Malboro, Winstons. You can also try Chesterfields. . .

BTW: cigarettes in France cost about $6-7 a pack, hence another reason to bring your own!!
