I'm under 21 and will be travelling to France from the UK in a few days. Do I need a visa to enter France? If yes, do I need to go to the French embassy in London? If no, what travel documents ...
If you come in France, you can go at the '' Bank of France'' for change your notes, limit is until february 17 2012, for your coins, it is too late it was until february 17 2005 !!...Sorry !
Well, have a nice day,

No. French Francs were discontinued when the Euro became the official currency of France. Some banks might exchange francs for Euros but that would be rather rare. Keep the coins as mementos.

Nope even the central bank "Banque de France" will not take coins anymore.
For notes you have a few years depending on which ones, the older banknotes are already retired and almost worthless.

No, not coins. Only certain banknotes can be exchanged (some of the 100F, 200F, and 500F, not all of them; it depends on the date they were issued), and only in the national Bank of France, not in ordinary banks.
