Are French Parisians terrorised in their own city by Muslims?

And is the Front Nationale the only party which recognises this?

@STP : WTF ????
"I have heard rumors that there are some neighborhood in Paris (social housing areas, mostly) where French women will not go unless they cover their heads for fear of harassment. But these are just rumors"

Are you just stupid or what ?

hi. I live in Paris for 8 years now. I live downtown, I don't know about the outskirts.
The city is very touristic, in Paris if you take the night bus (Noctambus) you'll barely find somebody speaking french. And during the day, you often listen to english, spanish, german, chinese tourist in the tube.
So we are not more terrorised than anybody else in any other country after the 9/11, I guess.
The Front National (no "e" at the end) has had a big defeat in last presidential elections, and Jean-Marie Lepen said it was the last time he was a candidate. So this party is at crossroads, I hope they'll become history, 'cause they play with poor people's fears.
Good day.

Why should we be terrorised ?
Muslims are regular people. They're just like everybody.

You're so stupid my poor guy !

It actually tends to be the other way around. Muslims are often discriminated against in Paris, and in other large French cities.

And don't get me started on the Front National... Jean-Marie Le Pen est un monstre !

Jadore7 has her facts wrong. To begin with, there are so many different terrorst groups in various countries and continents a long way from Islam, that the list is too long to mention.
But I should also add that occupying armies produce far more terror. And don't forget the Israeli helicopters that fire rockets into crowded appartment blocks.

STPabroad
No, Parisians are not terrorized by Muslims in France. In fact, it is probably more likely that they will be discriminated against by other French.

I have heard rumors that there are some neighborhood in Paris (social housing areas, mostly) where French women will not go unless they cover their heads for fear of harassment. But these are just rumors.

Yes millions of French people are worried and tired about certain type of immigrants (let's not use the word terrorized), ie immigrants who do not integrate well, because many integrate well and do not cause problems. Immigrants are not necesarily all muslims, France’s immigrants fall generally in one of these (intersecting) categories: north africa, muslims, arabs. General opinion is that there is too many of these and they don’t integrate well (compared to for example italians or chinese), but there’s some French people who are OK with the current level of immigration and including muslims. So the situation is not simple and binary. So as a conclusion at this time there’s probably a majority of Parisians who are afraid or just concerned by the large (and growing) number of muslims, and by what the future holds after what we saw in 2005 (explosive riots in the suburbs).

Le Pen is the far right, people either love or hate ‘le front national’. His views are the strongest anti-immigration on the political spectrum, more and more French people would vote for him these days, but his views are quite strong against muslims, arabs, africans, so a majority prefers a softer anti-immigration stance such as DeVilliers or Sarkozy. The disastrous riots of 2005 were almost all immigrants from poor suburbs burning cars by the hundreds, LePen and Sarko adamently opposed these actions. Sarkozy promised to get rid of the 'racaille' (hooligans, bad boys, gangs), and he is known to deliver. He won the election and plans to expell 10 percent of the illegal immigrant population per year.
So hopefully in couple of years Parisians would feel more home and safe again in their own city.

Yes like Muslims are in Bagdad.
