They are the same wherever they are including Omaha, Des Moines, and yes, London and Paris. That is what chain hotels do, create standardization and substitute it for character, charm, local ambiance, and soul.
Even with that they are hardly "the best in the world." The Crillon in Paris, Claridges in London, and Raffles in Singapore are all examples of hotels that vastly exceed the boring, bourgeois, banality of the Hiltons. |

The London Hilton on Park Lane is a very good hotel as is the Conrad ( a hilton brand) in Chelsea The rest are Horrible!!! Avoid the London Metropole Hilton and London Hyde Park Hilton at ALL costs, actually avoid all of them except the London Hilton and Conrad. In Paris try the Ritz or the George V in London The Dorchester, The Ritz, Claridges, Four Seasons |
