I didn't know what it was, so I googled it. Irk ! Disgraceful. Only elderly farmwives would wear that type of shoes. I strongly recommend not stepping a foot in paris in that outfit.

not at all, if you have a pair and you are going to france, i suggest you don't bring them. boots are very popular in france though, like long flat suede boots, or flat leather boots; just not uggs, you will be embaressed. |

They are made in China and are not considered 'nice' by French fashion standards.
Your best bet is to visit the French stores where you will find a bewildering array of fashion boots. |

After several years in France, I was shocked to see my first pair of UGGs on a French person the other day. (I did indeed verify that they were French by listening in!)
Leather boots are more popular--whether they have heels or not, be high or low, black, brown or any other color for that matter! |
