almost all boutiques everywhere in the world are the same priced supposedly only depends on a dime or two for the currency. but the thing about paris is that they provide the most different models and stuff and varieties one of the most. you can find really rare ones in paris.
the cheapest place for designer stuff is probably hong kong or tokyo.

muschlag
no. neither is louis vuitton cheaper. the dollar is not doing well, so that doesn't help.

sweetmommy
No. The best prices you will find will be on Ebay!

definitely not! i went to France in 2007 and stuff was much more expensive. the dollar is doing poorly and French prices are somewhat inflated. a can of coke here will be .75, in France it would cost the american equivalent to $1.50-$2.00.

The shopping is better in the U.S. no doubt about it. Living in Paris the only thing I buy is food! When I return to California I do ALL my shopping. With the U.S. dollar so weak in Europe everything is especially outrageous. When I first moved here 1 euro equaled about 85 cents; now 1 euro equals about 1 dollar and 58 cents! It adds up for food and hotel costs, not to mention shopping. Have a good time but save your shopping money for the good ol' U.S. of A. Bonne chance et bon voyage!
