Are the cheeses in France pasteurized?

I saw an episode of Samantha Brown where she went into a shop and they said it was not regulated that it had to be pasteurized. Anyone know the answer?

It's true that it's not required, but some are pasteurized--it would say on the package. Pregnant women in France, for instance, are counseled to avoid unpasteurized cheese, so they eat other varieties that are.

Samantha Brown is my sister !!!! - and she is at least as much clever as me - but she hates diversity - she is deodorant paranoido-labial - and she restrains any approach of anything stinking - that's why she lives in a plastic compartment - and is basically introverted-racist, biggot, never-realized-lesbian and otherwise she worships the showers with pasteurized mineral water - quite expensive !!!

Our mineral waters Evian, Perrier, Vittel, Badoît, are pasteurized but she prefers US distilled water - excuse-me now it's her injection time and I have to assist her -

Bye - bye

Pasteurized cheeses arent't really cheeses...
France is the place where you will taste the most amazing cheeses in the world. I have never tasted anything better...
Stop worrying with these arguments of pasteurization!
Don't act like americans who are afraid by everything!
there is strictly no danger!!
May I recall you that this is in France that people have the longest lifetime?

liver
no
