most muslims live in cities, less in the country.

Er well yes they live wherever they want to live which is basicaly in any city. There are no "ghettos" with only muslims in it. There are no "muslims disctricts".
I live in a small city and there are muslims in it.
I work with muslims as well.
I don't really get the point in your question ?? |

I can't believe what I have just read! It is true that there are some problems of racism, unemployment and violence in the "banlieues" (suburbs, that's the correct French spelling) but I don't think this is strictly a French problem. I work in a professional school and the majority of my pupils are from first or second generation. We have a lot of colleagues who are Muslims (so much for the underrated jobs). Most of the pupils have troubles but as every teenagers (what do I want to do, how can i have a decent wage, where will i find a girlfriend...?). the media are very fond of laying the blame on the suburb youths and even some people in the Muslim community exacerbate these feelings.
You will find mostly the Muslim community in cities because that's where there are jobs. I'm half English and French. Should I apologize for the British colonial empire and the Vichy regime? This is utter nonsense! |

If you're really interested in meeting Muslims in France then committing a heinous crime is an excellent starting point in your quest.
Farhad Khosrokhavar of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, estimates that between 50% and 80% of the French prison population are Muslims. Contrasted with the 7-8% overall Muslim population of France this figure clearly indicates that if you're looking for Muslim (in!)mates in France then your best bet by far is to do some jail time. If you're muslim yourself this process will be facilitated every step of the way by the hundreds of thousands of French 'agents de sécurité' (Police - all of whom are armed for your 'sécurité') who are impeccibly trained in the art of identifying and arresting as many Muslims as physically possible.
In addition to the vast concentration of Muslims residing in the Republic of liberté, égalité, fraternité you will soon come to note that in fact the concentration of the Muslim population of France is more often than not centered around the 'banlieux' (or 'suburban waste heaps'). One would imagine that this concentration of the 'free' Muslim community is born of some form of choice or propensity to live in an environment where people share the same values, however this is not necessarily the case. There is an unwritten law in France that Muslims are not allowed to work in decent jobs - hence the squalid living conditions.
France went to great lengths to eradicate its own Muslim population, most notably between 1954 and 1962 when the French army murdered nearly 400,000 Algerians 'chez eux'. Unfortunately the decision to do this has somewhat backfired on the French and they now have a hugely disgruntled Muslim population. |

Yes, everywhere. It's hard to tell you where you can find them the most because I guess there aren't any maps or any data about that. |

In 2000, the French Ministry of the Interior estimated the total number of people born into Islam as 4.1 million. But to understand the true magnitude of the muslim issue in France you have to understand that the French Ministry of the Interior are grossly incompetent and massively underfunded. Most of them drink considerable quantities of wine at lunch time and they are off with their petites putes for most of the afternoon. They are also notorious for telling outright lies in order to keep the people of France at bay. The French are inherently racist. They can't help it, and remember, a lot of supporters of the Vichy government that welcomed Hitler with open arms are still alive to this day. So those in authority are wary of terrifying the French people with the knowledge that their country is essentially an Islamic Republic. They don't give them jobs and they stick them all in "cités" letting them kill eachother. Those in power know what happened in 1789 and they are quite attached to their heads. Once you have understood this I think it is safe to assume that the official figures are wholly inaccurate.
I have travelled all over France. Cities, small towns, big towns, villages, homesteads. I can assure you : Muslims are everywhere. They have been for a while. In fact ever since the Rashidun and Umayyad caliphs stole victory at the Battle of Tours, France has had a huge muslim population.
France pride themselves on their Cuisine. It's all nonsense, but my God you can get a great kebab on every street corner. |

As France was a country with a lot of colonies. Thus there are a lot of muslim that came here at the beginning to work to rebuild France after the 2nd world war. Most of them come from Algeria, and are present everywhere. Muslim is the second religion in France. |
