anyway who gives a *****?if you are flashed by these cameras as a foreigner with a foreign driver s license what are the fernch gonna do? send the foreign legion to get you to pay your fine?

yes they have more now than they used to have. They usually have a warning sign before you reach them

Harder to spot than in the UK, also a few are dummies.

Unless you get pulled by the police for speeding, a UK registered car flagged would not at present be followed up.

yes there are.
a bit smaller than their english equivalent.
look like a small black box at about head level.

yes but they are hard to spot they usually sit inbetween the armco in the middle of the road they are small grey boxes about 10" square so beware

Don't speed then you won't have to worry about them.

Yes, a few thousands have been installed but it is still a lot less than in the UK. Anyway, there is always a warning sign before any camera.
