Are there any jobs that are unique to France?

I’m doing a project on France, and need to know if there are any jobs/careers unique to France (or at least rare-ish in other countries). I’m not sure if there’s anything out there, but any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

if they are, it would probably have to deal with "boulangerie" !

I've never been to so many other countries to know if some jobs are unique in France (and never been to your country), but I've seen some reports mentioning that "boulangerie-patisserie" was a speciality in France ! ???

I'm going to give that one a shot, intriguing question (good)
-Paludiers people that rakes Fleur DE sel(special salt) from salt field in guerande .
-plumber fabricator for water lines of palais de versailles. Only 6/7 of them still working the lines like when they were made.
-Razetteurs summer sport with camargue wild bull.school in arles.
-sabotiers and galoches makers (clogs)
-All sorts of rare jobs to do with GUARDE REPUBLICAINE in Paris Sabre's masters, saddle makers ,black smith, helmet with horse hair fabricator for the horsemen.
-Tapestry maker at Gobbelin factory.may be 10 personnes alltogether

google ( vieux metiers d'artisanat) click on genealogie -translate this page. there is tons of stuff in there.good luck .hope that helps.

hi, I'm french and after thinking of your question I don't think so. We hqve different ways to make some things (especially bakery and cooking), but you can find something close abroad.
But the french school system is quite unique.
At 14 you decide if you want to go to High School or make short studies like wood-working, hairdresser, cooking, electricity and so on.
If not you go ti High School, and at 18 you have the "Baccalauréat", so far nothing special, but after you can go to university or to "classes preparatoires", the later is unique I think. During 2 years, you study very very hard maths or sciences or economy or litteracy, depends what you choose.
After you have a comparational exams and you can enter "Grandes Ecoles", to be an engineer. In this Grandes Ecoles, it's very fun and students who had spent 2 years working so hard enjoy huge parties... It's hard studies but then you have great jobs...

Racism and provoking are the jobs those unique to France. If u r succesful in these jobs, I mean if u r a good racist and a provoker and if u r not African, Asian, Türk or Arab, go to france to work. I m sure they will like you. Good luck...
