Hello ! I live in France.
There are sandy beaches in Nice, Cannes, Antibes but there are little and it is very expensive.
I advise you the other side of Mediterranée (In Perpignan, Collioure, Argelès : near Spain : the region is LANGUEDO-ROUSSILLON) This is also MARVELOUS and beaches are sandy and long.. Or if you want very big size beaches I advise Ocean (St Jean De Luz, Biarritz..)

Antibes has a sandy beech
its cool there i use to live there
there are loads...i think nice is mainly pebbles

Graham I
Nice has one large beach which is almost entirely composed of pebbles rather than sand. You will have to go to a neighbouring resort to get a sandy beach, although there are sandy resorts nearer than Cannes.

Steve M
Between Antibes and Nice there is a continuous long, sandy (well, it looked sandy from the train!) beach. There is at least one stop at which loads of people with beach gear got off between Nice and Antibes.
