There is also Quatre Temps at La Défense neighborhood. It's not exactly Paris, but with RER A you can get there in 5 minutes. It is much bigger then Les Halles (in fact Quetre Temps is really HUGE, there is like 250 shops).

Also in Quatre Temps you till find a food store. There is no one in Les Halles.

The closest thing would be the Forum of Les Halles, Get there by taking ther Metro to the Les Halles station.

One of the largest shopping centres in Paris is Galleries Lafayette (40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009, Paris) and it's right next to the Place de l'Opera. I would say that the closest métro station is Auber or Havre-Caumartin. Its got fashion, food, restaurants, more or less all you need. Try www.galerieslafayette.com although when i tried a second ago the site was under construction...

If you want a mall in central Paris that is less crowded than the one in Les Halles there is also one in Montparnasse, métro Montparnasse-Bienvenuë in the 14th arrondissement.

But if the weather is nice you can find everything you need in the many shopping districts of Paris without having to go to a mall.
