With a population of 64 milion people of which 2.5 milion live outside of metropolitan France and, let's say 50 % (not sure) of women (of all ages), which makes a rough estimate of 10 milion "girls"...
yes I'd say that we all have the same personality, we listen to 1 song (ma vie en rose), we have read 1 magazine (vogue), we all wear a red dress (required french uniform), and yeah sorry that Yahoo censured your word but I am sure we all are ****

My understanding is that they do not like the type of man who would seek facile generalizations, characterize women based on nationality, use crude insults, or, for that matter, needs to ask this sort of question in the first place.

I've lived and studied in both countries and this applies to both men and women. Italians are more open, they talk more, they are loud. Don't get me wrong - I like them just the way they are.

The French are more reserved (polite, in a way), but once you get into their circle, they are really nice people. The French are also more sarcastic and cynical, which, I find, is part of their charm.

My wife's matron of honor and her family hosted a French foreign exchange student for a year. She was nice enough but she was also very shy. I'm sure the language barrier didn't help, but everyone in the family said she simply didn't talk much, even over time as her English improved. They never got the impression that she was snobby or anything like that though. That would lead me to believe that French girls are pretty much like any other girls -- each one of them has a different personality. Now, it's no secret that people in Europe don't care for Americans, especially those who come to their country and expect them to speak English. So if you're an American and you come across a French or Italian girl who you think is a snob, she may think the exact same thing about you.

I'm half italian, love Italy. French, I got french friends. their cool.

First things first, you can't generalize chicks n say, french girls are different to italian girls. ok?.

French, uh.. they're cool. (I lived in Europe for 15 years so I know).
French are that 'je ne sas pas qua' they're cool, they're french, they're individuals (especially in Paris).
The girls, dunno, they seem shy most of time. I'M SERIOUS.
I had like.. french friends and they'd like.. be really hard to communicate with.
Italian chicks n the other hand (especially the ones from Rome) are SO stuck up!. I know plenty of italian guys (not all guys) who don't really like the italian chicks, cause they're so stuck up! ..ironically so are the new generation of italian guys.
Oh well. I'd advise you to just go to Hungary. My uncle lives there because he says that all the gorgeous women are in Hungary.
