I'm going to france over the summer and were going the to beach (its me and my friend were 15).
were deciding what to wear as bathing suits - like regular bikinis or topless bikinis? whats the norm haha. we think it might be kinda funny to go around topless. |

Bring regular bikinis, and then you have the option of leaving the tops in your room if you want. It's not like it takes a lot of extra space.
Pretty much, all the beaches allow topless. You won't be weird either way. |

Bring the full bikini along, but then of course, you can always shed the top if you so desire. |

While going topless on a beach is quite acceptable in France, most women don't go topless, and no-one would expect you to if you didn't want to.
So take the bikini if you have one and make a decision about the top once you're at the beach. But full bathing suits were fashionable over the last summer and probably will be again next year. It's really up to you. |

topless is ok, but you might be a bit young to do so darling allthough noone is going to come and verify how old you are.
you wont be walking around the street topless, so have a bikini and take the top off when you are on the beach, dont go thinking you can walk around like that :) |

whatever you do, do not walk around topless anywhere else than the beach, as you'd be arrested for indecent behaviour.
do like the others have suggested, take your bikini to the beach and only take off the top if you feel like it. but i'm warning you, guys will be staring at you! especially if you go to the south of france (i know, that's where i'm from...) and i do think you're a bit young to do this anyway. |
