Frankly, if you imagine that there is not enough in Paris to occupy all your time for as long as most people travel on vacation then there is nothing else in France that is "worth seeing" by your standards. |

Why don't you buy a French guidebook and have a look at what's on offer! There is so much to see in France: the countryside; museums; chateaux and castles; river cruises; restaurants; shopping; mountains; vineyards; lavendar fields. What you do and see all depends on your interests, something we know nothing about. You could spend months in France and still not see everything worthwhile. |

Versailles is only a couple hours from Paris and is worth the trip! |

I agree with Zafir - there is lots and lots ot see in France. Paris in one thing, it would be a pity to think you know France just because you have seen Paris. South East of France is indeed lovely ( Nice, Cannes, Antibes etc) but I am from Bordeaux (south west) and we have wineyards, castle, beaches only 40 min away for the city. The coast from Bordeaux to the Spanish borders is beautiful with pines trees, vast sandy beaches, campings sites with lots and lots of young people. Anyway,I would recommend it to you! |

My Aunt is from France, and she isn't from Paris. She is in Southern France and her parents live in a tiny castle, but it's in the country side, which is a little bit weird. They grow crops and sell them in the market. I've never been to France yet, but I will for my graduation next year! Yay! LOL So...You really should buy a guide book. It would be really helpful and would list more things then any of us users combined. Good luck on your trip to Paris.
Auvior!
(I think that's how you spell it! LOL I'm still learning how to speak the language.) |

You can also try out Lyons, France as well. The whole country is awesome and unique because of the regions' uniqueness. Try the neighboring french speaking countries also ie Belgium and have a waffle there. Have a safe and great time in France and elsewhere!! |

i would spend a couple days in London, its about a 3 hour drive from Paris and you can also take a train there. Also, it is very beautiful in south France along the Mediterranean Sea, but that may be to far for you. But Paris is worth a whole trip, believe me. |

London is a the best choice, it is only 2 hours and half by train from paris to get to London. |
